A TOP QUALITY PROFESSIONALLY PRODUCED TRAVEL COLUMN FOR YOUR PUBLICATION,
OR TRAVEL FEATURE FOR YOUR RADIO STATION... ABSOLUTELY FREE !
Can I choose the destinations covered?
Generally we will plan the featured destinations well in
advance, to ensure an even spread across domestic,
European, and international travel. However, we are
happy to hear suggestions, and will certainly aim to
include them where possible.
Does it include advertising?
No. There will, of course, be times when we mention a
particular airline, ferry company, holiday company, etc.,
if the articles relate to them, but there won’t be any
blatant advertising - guaranteed! (BBC Stations - see
the box on the right).

We are fully aware of BBC Producer
Guidelines, & tailor our audio version
so that it can be broadcast without
problems on BBC Local and Regional
stations. There is no advertising, and
mentions of any companies are only
in context of destination or travel
style reports. We add a mention of
the website where listeners can find
more information on any items we
feature, but as you will see it is an
information based site, and doesn’t
sell travel or any products.
We will produce and distribute the
material to subscribers by e-mail. All
you need to do is copy and paste it
into your layout.
Audio versions will be sent as MP3
files, supported by a written script.
(If MP3 is unsuitable for you just let
us know, and we can easily arrange
an alternative format.
We will ensure you have exclusive
rights within your publishing area.
(Published material only - we cannot
guarantee exclusivity elsewhere as
radio stations and websites can be
accessed online from anywhere).
We’ll also give advance notice of the
main feature subjects, whenever
possible, enabling those seeking to
source advertising to approach local
or suitable prospective advertisers.

Do we have to use it all, or can we edit it?
It’s entirely up to you. We have no problem with you
using just parts of the product, as long as you don’t
change the meanings/context of any particular section.
The only bit we insist you keep is the footer from our
sponsor, which will simply say “For more information
on the items featured, visit www.protraveller.co.uk”.
There will be a similar line in the audio version. But
don’t worry, ProTraveller is a travel information site,
and doesn’t sell travel. The site caries a small amount
of advertising but is predominantly a feature led site
for family travellers.
Is it really free?
Yes. Absolutely. We are travel media specialists, and
the funding comes from various Travel Principals and
National Tourist Boards, as well as the sponsorship
from ProTraveller.
