Kudosmedia is delighted to have been granted
the licence to run Radio War & Peace, this coming
July, in conjunction with The War & Peace Show.
Radio War & Peace will be managed by former
BBC presenter & producer, Trevor Claringbold,
winner of a Sony Gold Award for Broadcasting,
and who has a long involvement with The War
& Peace Show.
He’s supported by an experienced team from
a variety of radio backgrounds, who’ve been
hand picked to give this year’s Radio War &
Peace a professional mixture of information &
entertainment.
Broadcasting live from the Model Marquee, in
the heart of the show ground, it will mean the
station once again has excellent accessibility
& live interview opportunities. It will also keep
its visibility to both the visiting public, & those
staying on site.
Radio War & Peace goes on air from Sunday
July 19th, until Sunday 26th July, to a huge
potential audience. We hope you’ll tune in, &
“get in the mood!”

Radio War & Peace will broadcast around the clock, with live programmes from 6am ‘til midnight, and
recorded highlights from the day repeated overnight.
A full programme schedule will appear here nearer the time, but here are some of the highlights:
Every quarter past, and quarter to the hour - Updates and What’s On Next at The War & Peace Show.
News Headlines and Weather Forecasts on the hour.
Veterans Stories. We’ve been busy chatting to many veterans from WW2 & other conflicts, recording
their first hand accounts for posterity. We’ll bring you these amazing stories throughout the show.
Around the Show. Our reporters will be out and about around the War & Peace Show, talking to the
vehicle owners, re-enactors, stall holders, organisers, and even the visiting public, to bring you the full
flavour of this year’s outstanding event.
Your Voice. We want to hear from you! From requests and dedications, to appeals for assistance, or
even just to tell us about something special you’ve seen... We’d love to talk to you.

For traders at the show, and local businesses around The Hop Farm, Radio War & Peace offers excellent
opportunities for getting your message across to a potentially huge and focused audience.
As well as being available to anyone with a radio in and around the showground, Radio War and Peace
will also be broadcast in many of the public areas, marquees, & restaurants. It will be widely publicised
at the show, in the programme, and in the information book given to all vehicle owners and exhibitors.
We can offer ready made packages from under £9 a day, (£0.75 per advert!), fully inclusive, or you can
choose to sponsor particular features within the output to give a higher profile across the event. We’ll
assist with the production of your advert, should you need, and can advise on the most cost effective
way for you to get the maximum coverage within your budget.
In addition, we will offer an editorial spot, which we will record and broadcast FREE of charge. And all
advertisers will get an advertising voucher giving them a two month’s FREE advertising on Kentguide.net
(worth up to £100).
